The pieces continue to fall into place for the 2025 racing lineup, with Toni Breidinger the latest to land a new race and promotion for the upcoming NASCAR season.
The 25-year-old California native received the keys to the No. 5 Toyota, from David Gilliland’s Tricon garage, for the 2025 Truck Series season.
Although female racers are still quite rare in NASCAR, they are becoming commonplace on Gilliland’s Truck Series team, which has run truck races full-time in 2021-22 for Hailie Deegan.

Breidinger is no stranger to the Gilliland team and the Truck Series. She has run four races there over the past two seasons, with a best finish of 15th in Kansas. She is part of the Toyota Racing Development roster.
Breidinger raced the entire ARCA season this year for Venturini Motorsports, posting 11 top-10s in 20 starts and finishing fourth in the season points standings. She has 65 career ARCA starts since 2018, with 27 top-10 finishes.
Not many Victoria’s Secret models in NASCAR
A marketing advantage is rarely wasted in motorsport, and Breidinger certainly has one. As for the runners who have also posed for Victoria’s Secret, we can count them on one finger.
Breidinger’s next high-profile modeling gig is coming soon. She was chosen as one of a handful of athletes to compete in next year’s Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, joining Olympic champion Gabby Thomas and WNBA player Cameron Brink.
Breidinger began racing go-karts at age 9 at Sonoma Raceway and moved to stock cars in her late teens.
The 2025 Truck Series season begins Feb. 14 at Daytona, two days before the 67th Daytona 500.
